With a passion for true stories and character-driven storytelling, Michael strives to find the story behind the story—the unspoken feelings, motivations, and small details that make a character feel alive. His approach gives emotional complexity room to breathe, with a strong sense of musicality that builds momentum and adds depth.

For Michael, that work begins with a strong relationship. He values an editing room where filmmakers can think out loud, try something unexpected, and trust each other enough to discover what the story can become.

His television editing credits include Nobody Wants This, Deli Boys, Dollface, PEN15, Daisy Jones & The Six, and Archive 81. His independent film work includes Extremely Unique Dynamic, winner of the 2024 Mark Urman Award for Fiction Filmmaking at the Montclair Film Festival; guts, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival; Sperm Bank, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival; and Uncle Johnny, which won an Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival.

He has also contributed to post-production teams on major productions including Dune: Prophecy and Fallout.

Michael began his career at MLB Network and NHL Network, earning a Sports Emmy before moving to Los Angeles to pursue narrative storytelling.
